This Friday budget deadline is going to hit us like a freight train.
Our 1st Quarter financial deadline ends on the 31st – and I’m sorry to report that we are vastly under where we need to be right now.
Michigan Firearms Association (MFA) has been spending resources aggressively to hammer on the politicians in Lansing, demanding a NO vote on any and all gun-control that comes up for a vote.
But tragically, yesterday afternoon after a Trans killer murdered several kids at a Christian school in Nashville, TN, Biden’s Press Secretary (Karine Jean-Pierre) immediately called a press conference to demand Republicans support a national BAN on AR15’s!
Now, I wish I could tell you that Michigan’s Republican Congressional delegation in Washington were all staunch 2nd Amendment supporters that would never vote yes on the ‘Assault Weapons’ ban.
But that simply isn’t true and we can’t rely on them to hold the line.
MFA will fight back and sound the alarm at every turn like we always do, but if we don’t have the resources we need to get this information out through digital ads, email deployments and our texting program, we can’t generate the widespread opposition in Congress that we need to!
This budget shortfall that we are experiencing is exactly what the Radical Left (Bloomberg, Soros, etc) and their Democrat allies in Washington, D.C. are hoping for.
You see, Big Gun Control and their pals in the Fake News media are like Rumpelstiltskin from the fairytale books: they spin the blood of the innocent dead into political gold for their gun-control agenda.
They have no sincere sympathy, they don’t really care, and they have zero shame.
And now that they can squarely blame a “Red” state like Tennessee for a mass shooting, it’s out of the frying pan and into the fire right as the Left kicks into overdrive demanding their national “Assault Weapons” ban.
The radical left hopes that they can shame us, silence us and cripple us, leaving us unable to fight back against gun control in D.C. or here in Lansing!
After all, our legislature just passed Universal Background Checks and a mandated firearms storage law and Speaker Tate says that a ban on AR-15s is on the table – and that was BEFORE the Tennessee shooting!
And without your immediate support, they might just get their way.
And don’t think for one minute that yesterday’s murder spree in Nashville will only fuel the gun-grabbing Democrats.
Even now in the wake of yesterday’s shooting in Nashville, RINO gun-grabbers in Lansing like Rep.Tisdel, Hall, Steele, Kuhn, and Schmaltzwill be looking for opportunities to vote for more gun control like they did last week!
That’s why our goals for the next three months are very simple: fight like hell to stop every new piece of gun control that rears its head, both in DC and right here in Lansing!
Michigan Firearms Association is growing very quickly and is a leader in these fights.
But to do our job effectively, we must close the current budget shortfall that we are experiencing.
