Petition To: Members of the Michigan Legislature
Whereas: The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution states that “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed;” and
Whereas: “Nuclear Gun Control” omnibus bills are nothing more than the full Leftist agenda of disarming the people of Michigan all crammed into one massive bill;’ and
Whereas: “Mental Health Gun Control” will be used to disarm the political opposition of anti-gun radicals whose whole goal is have an unarmed and helpless populace; and
Whereas: The AR-15 is the most common firearm in America and is a symbol of our glorious heritage of freedom. Banning them will just make criminals out of the law-abiding.
Therefore: As a voter and proud Second Amendment supporter in Michigan, I insist that you oppose all three pieces of this gun control legislation — or any similar legislation!
